Excellent Tips for Maintaining Massage Chairs

Many manufacturers say that a quality massage chair can last over 10 years; However, without any maintenance, just like any other piece of equipment, massage chairs also require significant periodic inspection or maintenance. By caring for your Masseuse Massage Chairs, you are keeping them in top working condition.

Here are some tips for caring for massage chairs:

Vacuum your chair regularly.

You can do this at least two or three times a week. When cleaning, you can use a nozzle with a soft brush. The vacuum cleaner will keep the pores of the skin open and breathe. Then, in between vacuuming, wipe the leather with a dry cloth.

Leather massage chairs should be cleaned with a damp cloth.

These chairs are usually made from leather or microfiber, so they don’t need to be cleaned as often as a dining table. It is because leather or microfiber is shiny and slippery, allowing dirt to slide off. It is enough to clean it with a disinfectant spray or mild moisturizing soap and a slightly damp and well-wrung soft cloth at least three times a week to remove dirt.

Remember, do not oversaturate the massager with moisture, and never rinse it with water. It is because it is made from mechanical materials that can cause rust and electrical components that can present hazards such as electric shock and fire. Also, don’t use printed towels; use plain white rags so you don’t transfer the ink to your skin.

Stay away from cleaning solvents and abrasive cleaners.

These include ammonia-based cleaners, bleach, varnish, saddle soap, and alkaline cleaners. These products can certainly damage your skin, spoiling the aesthetics of your massager. Also, locate the chair away from sunny places, direct sunlight, heat sources, and air conditioners. It is done so that the skin does not discolor, crack or dry out.

Try stain removers on the underside of the massage chair.

If your stool is likely to have stains that won’t go away, buy a recommended leather stain remover spray and follow the directions strictly. When removing stains, always test a small amount of the cleaner on a hidden area of the massage chair before use. And if color changes occur, don’t use this cleaner to remove specific stains from the chair.

Spot cleaning methods are recommended to be used very carefully and sparingly. Or you can use natural cleaners like lemon juice. For example, if your stool has blood, food debris, and other dark spots, you can paste one part of tartar and lemon juice and rub it into the area.

Leave the cleaner for about ten minutes, remove it with a damp cloth and moisturizing soap, then wipe with a dry cloth. For ink stains, put some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab, rub it lightly on the affected area, and then at least dry it with a hair dryer.
